Christmas Day 2009
We had a different Christmas day this year. In all the years Anders and I have been married (20) we have always spent Christmas day with my parents and siblings. This year they (my parents) and Janine were able to spend Christmas with Teresa and Steve in Vancouver, which was really nice for them.
So our day unfolded with gifts, a big breakfast, a walk in the sunshine and then the phone rang with an invitation to dine and spend the evening with the Lindkvists. So we had the opportunity to visit with the Lindkvists times 3 and the Thiessens. It was a lovely end to a great day.

Lots of wonderful gifts were exchanged but in truth, the love and appreciation shown was the most valuable thing under the tree.

Santa's elves were busy at work while the boys slept. Each one of them were gift wrapped into their rooms, just like big Christmas gifts. Each one of them is a gift but not from Santa.

Christmas Day produced such fabulous sunshine and it called us to come out and enjoy. So Anders, Peter and I headed out for a short walk to soak up some vitamin D. It was so nice!
